I have noticed a lot of people thanking others for adding their work to their favourites. I think of faving as an antisocial way of showing your appreciation for a work, and a way to easily find it again. No need to thank me if I selfishly add your super awesome picture to my favourites so I can look at it again later! Though of course, it can be a way of striking up a conversation I guess.

When people have taken the time to comment, however, I find it polite to reply. Though I can be bad at it at times because it stresses me out to write in English. All those people with one billion watchers or those who have gotten a daily deviation - well they're definitely excused from replying. I kind of pity them, it must be hard to keep up with all the messages.

Just blabbing, but I'm interested in how people reason around DA interaction.
